SFTP

SFTP is an SSH-based, encrypted standard for securely transferring files.

Each client is provided with a unique account and a dedicated folder on our servers where they can retrieve data in CSV format.

This setup offers three layers of protection:

  • End-to-end encryption. All communication between your computer and our server is fully encrypted, ensuring that credentials and data cannot be intercepted.

  • Strong authentication. Access is granted only via SSH keys, which eliminates the risks associated with weak or leaked passwords.

  • Strict isolation. Each client has their own permission-controlled folder. Your data is fully segregated (no other client can view, modify, or access your files).

Obtaining Access

Clients may be eligible to access raw index files via SFTP by sending a request via our email.

Once approved, we will be requesting the following item from the authorized contact:

  • SSH2 Public Key in OpenSSH format.

We do not support SSH1.

After we receive the public key, SFTP account will be created, and the authorized contact will receive an email detailing the login details and a brief introduction to the file structures.

File and Folder Structure

This is obsolete and no longer supported.

Version 2

Private Infrastructure

Files are stored in the following folder structure:

  • App

    • YYYY_MM_DD

      • List of metrics (flat_file_inventory.csv, 1. File Descriptions for Private Infrastructure)

      • List of indices / segments (e.g. index_inventory.csv, list_segments.csv, etc.)

      • Index Family Id / Segment Id

        • Index files (*.csv)

        • Report Files (*.pdf, if any)


Supported apps:

  • market-indices (Market Indices)

  • deal-and-valuation-analytics (Deal & Valuation Analytics)

  • ticcs-research-data (TICCS Benchmarks, also known as Themeatic Indices)

  • fund-strategy (Fund Benchmarks)


To locate a specific metric for an index, combine the use of list of metrics and the list of indices / segments. For example, in Market Indices, the steps to obtain the file for “Total Returns” of “infra300®, VW EUR” would be:

  1. Locate market-indices folder.

  2. Browse into the dated folder, e.g. “2026_08_31”.

  3. Locate “infra300®, VW EUR” in index_inventory.csv within the dated folder, and extract the IndexFamilyId and IndexId, i.e. “INFRA_EQ_WRLD_ALL_INFR_INFR_INFR_300_MONTHLY” and “INFRA_EQ_WRLD_ALL_INFR_INFR_INFR_300_MONTHLY_CW_EUR”.

  4. Locate “Total Returns” in flat_file_inventory.csv, and extract the File Name, i.e. “<INDEX_ID>_total_return_ts_<YYYY-MM-DD>.csv”

  5. Browse into the IndexFamilyId folder, in this case, “INFRA_EQ_WRLD_ALL_INFR_INFR_INFR_300_MONTHLY”.

  6. Locate the file by replacing “<INDEX_ID>” with “INFRA_EQ_WRLD_ALL_INFR_INFR_INFR_300_MONTHLY_CW_EUR”, and <YYYY-MM-DD> with the release date, e.g. “2026-08-31”. This would form the file name of “INFRA_EQ_WRLD_ALL_INFR_INFR_INFR_300_MONTHLY_CW_EUR_total_return_ts_2026-08-31.csv”.

The full path to the file would then be:
/market-indices/2026_08_31/INFRA_EQ_WRLD_ALL_INFR_INFR_INFR_300_MONTHLY/INFRA_EQ_WRLD_ALL_INFR_INFR_INFR_300_MONTHLY_CW_EUR_total_return_ts_2026-08-31.csv


Private Equity

Files are stored in the following folder structure:

  • App

    • YYYY_MM_DD

      • List of metrics (list_values.csv, 2. File Descriptions for Private Equity)

      • List of indices (list_indices.csv)

      • Metric files in zip format (e.g. T01414.zip)

        • Metric file in csv format (e.g. T01414.csv)


Supported apps:

  • pe-market-indices (Market Indices)

  • pe-thematic-indices (Thematic Indices)


To locate a specific metric for an index, combine the use of list of metrics and the list of indices / segments. For example, in Market Indices, the steps to obtain the file for “Total Returns” of “private2000, VW USD” would be:

  1. Locate pe-market-indices folder.

  2. Browse into the dated folder, e.g. “2026_08_31”.

  3. Locate “private2000, VW USD” in list_indices.csv within the dated folder, and extract the IndexTicker, i.e. “PE2KBBBK”.

  4. Locate “Total Returns” in list_values.csv, and extract the Ticker, i.e. “T02798”.

  5. Locate the zip file with the metric ticker, in this case, “T02798.zip”.

  6. Unzip the file, and browse into T02798.csv.

  7. Filter rows by IndexTicker “PE2KBBBK”.

File Retention

We will keep 6 months of files in SFTP folder. For example, when files for 2026-06-30 are released, files generated in 2025-12-31 (and before, if any) will be deleted.

Publishing Frequency

Monthly Indices

Unless otherwise specified, most if not all of our indices are published monthly. Files will be ready by the 10th business day after a month ends. The December release is an exception, files will be published by the 20th business day, but no later than 31 January.

Quarterly Indices

This applies to the TICCS Benchmarks and Fund Benchmarks.

Files will be ready by the 10th business day after a quarter ends, for instance, 14/Jul/2026 for the 2026Q2 release. Similar with the Monthly Indices, files for Q4 would only be published by the 20th business day, but no later than 31 January.

Public Holidays

We observe Singapore public holidays.
